Nanning Rail Transit Group originated as Nanning Rail Transit, founded in December 2008, and adopted its group name in January 2014. It is a wholly state-owned company under the Nanning municipal government, with independent legal status, operations and accounting.
The group's responsibilities include rail investment and financing, construction and operations; land and property development along rail corridors; advertising, telecommunications and station-related commercial resources; equipment-related businesses; associated municipal projects; and rail technology research, design, consulting and training. It also undertakes other activities authorized by the municipal government.
BIOSUN provides air treatment solutions for rail transit. Its Chinese project profile reports experience across more than 100 rail projects in China and overseas, with applications addressing airborne microorganisms, particles, chemical gases and emissions from interior materials in occupied transport environments.
Applications cover train interiors, platforms, station halls and public restrooms. BIOSUN applies PHOTOPLASMA technology to selected microbial, gaseous and particulate air treatment requirements.
