Suzhou Rail Transit

Project reference from BIOSUN’s Chinese website. Network figures, organizational descriptions and dated plans reflect the original case entry.

Suzhou Rail Transit serves Suzhou, Jiangsu. Line 1 began trial operations on 28 April 2012. The original entry described Suzhou as the 15th mainland Chinese city and the second in Jiangsu to open urban rail operations, and the first prefecture-level city in China to build and open such a system.

As of June 2021, the original profile listed five operating lines: Lines 1, 2, 3, 4 including its branch, and 5. It reported 169 stations including 15 interchanges, with a combined operating length of 210 kilometers.

BIOSUN provides air treatment solutions for rail transit. Its Chinese project profile reports experience across more than 100 rail projects in China and overseas, with applications addressing airborne microorganisms, particles, chemical gases and emissions from interior materials in occupied transport environments.

Applications cover train interiors, platforms, station halls and public restrooms. BIOSUN applies PHOTOPLASMA technology to selected microbial, gaseous and particulate air treatment requirements. Performance should be assessed against the equipment specifications, relevant test reports and operating conditions.
